MCC clerics demonize Jesus

WARNING: Read this post only if you want irrefutable proof of the depth of depravity currently saturating the gay christian movement.

Im sorry ladies and gentlemen to offend your Christian sensibilities, but the level of sheer perversion embodied by some clergy in the Metropolitan Community Church is, quite simply, insane. Though some accuse us of “demonizing” gay and lesbian christians, I wonder why they are not offended at the gross sexual liberties taken with Christ the Savior by men and women who claim to represent Him. Sadly, MCC clergy are guilty of demonizing Christ.
Does the MCC have any standards of professional conduct (other than the false “love thy neighbor” mantra) for its clergy? I would daresay any other religion —Jewish, Muslim, Buddhist, Hindus etc— would treat their G[g]od  in such a manner. Why do gay clerics turn a blind eye to this type of travesty in their movement? Do they truly regard Christ as sacred, holy, just and divine.  Or is he to them, as we will show you, simply another dime store, gay-club, sex whore?

Romans 1:21 For although they knew God, they neither glorified him as God nor gave thanks to him, but their thinking became futile and their foolish hearts were darkened.

The gay christian movement’s clergy (the MCC in particular) seem to be inundated with reprobates of the mind. Each one gunning to outdo the other with a sexual crassness literally unheard of in Christendom.

Having said that, meet the Rev. Dr. Robert E. Goss, senior pastor of the MCC’s “Church of the Valley” in North Hollywood, CA. In his 2002 book, Queering Christ, the pastor proudly recounts how he masturbates with Christ, imagining himself having homosexual sex with Christ.

“My technique of meditative prayer was to envision Christ with me and experience him as a lover. Scott Haleman, Betty Dodson, and Joe Kramer argue that masturbation can be spiritual and can become a form of transcendental meditation. Masturbation can harness fantasies and sexual energy. When prolonged, it can stimulate and extend pleasure. When fantasies are focused into making love with Christ, the experience opens itself to a fundamental and profound consciousness of God. My visualizations of Jesus were certainly explicit, erotically envisioning various forms of making love to Jesus the Christ. I had sexual intercourse with Jesus. Sometimes he was the top, and sometimes he was the bottom. My relationship with Christ was mutual and deep.”

Goss was hailed by the Center for Gay and Lesbian Studies at Pacific School of Religion as “a pioneering figure in LGBT theologies of liberation.” (Bishop Yvette Flunder is an alumni of this school.)  Goss is currently working on producing a version of the Bible simular to his book.

Romans 1:28-29 Furthermore, since they did not think it worthwhile to retain the knowledge of God, he gave them over to a depraved mind, to do what ought not to be done. They have become filled with every kind of wickedness, evil, greed and depravity.

  1. This is so blasphemous and ugly, it is one post that I have found very difficult to comment on. As disparaging as it is against our Lord, Jesus Christ, I decided that I must comment on it because it shows the awful direction that the gay christian movement is headed.

My comment was getting too long, so I have created a post entitled Spiritual Oblivion of the Reprobate Mind.

    Excerpt:

In conclusion, this illustrates just one reason why Jesus told us that he did not come to abolish the law, but to fulfill it. If Jesus came to abolish the law, then we could live in any morally relativistic (or morally reprehensible way as the corruption of Mr. Goss shows us) way we so choose.

But we steadfastly know that Jesus came to fulfill the law, not abolish it. Therefore, His statement, “If you love me, keep my commandments” flys in the face of the gay christian reprobate theologians who choose to be “no longer aware or mindful” of what God’s Word teaches. Scripture will always condemn and expose false prophets, teachers, and theologians like Mr. Goss. And the depravity of their minds will continue to expose the spiritual oblivion that they choose to reside in.

GCMW: Christine, thank you for your comments. This is deeply grevious, but at the same time expected in the caverns of sin and disgrace people fall into. In context this is already public news, but we felt that it needed to be shown here to complete this picture of utter depravity of those leading the gcm. With leadership like this, I marvel at what those following them are doing.

  2. As much as I should be appalled at his comments, I am not surprised. What can I say but this man and many of his cohorts have totally rejected the true living God and His only begotten Son Jesus Christ our Lord. Truly his words reflect his true master, the devil. GCM adherents prove to themselves and others that they don’t know God. I’m sure there are some liberal Christians and read this excerpt and think Goss’ words are nothing short of gross if not blasphemous. May the Lord have mercy on Goss’ soul.

  3. I agree Jason. I didnt post it for shock value. I posted it as a witness to all who think that sin is harmless.

Sin has a depth of depravity that is almost unimaginable. Right becomes wrong and wrong becomes right. Good becomes evil and evil is extolled as good. One’s understanding of God is completely perverted and (in their minds) God is as perverted as their own dark thoughts.

All the while these people maintain what would be considered a normal social life, perhaps even successful in the world’s definition.

I thank God that by his grace and mercy, I escaped. But we are charged to warn others that sin is nothing to play with. On its best day, it is a taste of hell.

  4. Well, they accomplished something very difficult, which was outdoing Juanita Bynum and Thomas Weeks III.

One may rightfully disagree with Bynum and Weeks’ theology, but these comments regarding them are really getting old and have nothing to do with the subject at hand. Correct the theology when they are in error. Anything more is gossip which is also sin.

  6. I’ve never heard of anything so vile in my life! Does he not fear God? He’s also a New Ager obviously.

Something I noticed about their banner at the top – it says ‘your food is ready’ with hands outstretched that are disease-ridden….I noticed that the hands are EMPTY. How appropriate! You will NOT be fed if you go there.

  7. Carol I chose that picture to show what is feeding people at those types of churches. Filthy hands serving filthy food.

Thanks for this correction, Jason. We need to deal with the gcm’s erroneous theology which causes erroneous behavior like we see in this man. Please everyone remember that in your comments. Part of the gcm’s major problem is the avoidance of scripture, not necessarily because it condemns, but because it will convict anyone who will give it half a chance. Let’s take the lie and place the truth side by side and let people see that this is NOT of God. And if its not of God, the alternatives are not worth losing your soul over.

  9. That is seriously that nastiest thing I’ve read since I read about Whoopi saying she would “do” Nanci Pelosi.

  10. hello,
im a gay christian, and if you think that i support this stuff, your wrong. i don’t listen to these people, i think its sick. my jaw droped when i read it.

i don’t think its fair to say that this person is a leader in the entire GLBT christian community. i dont have or want to have any part in what this man, and the people who follow him have to say. these are the people that give gay christians a bad name.

  11. The quesiton is: Since the MCC states that it supports gay realtionships within a specified context, is it willing to speak out against homosexual conduct outside of that specified boundary which it believes is the Biblical parameters for Christian sexual conduct? The fact is that such conduct by its leaders demonstrates that while they SAY they believe homosexual is permittied within “life long committed relationships” it does not speak out or discipline homosexual sex (or any other kind) outside of its acclaimed code of conduct. Why? Beccause the reality is in the MCC – ANYTHING can be lawful so long as it feels good and doesn’t supposed “oppress anybody.”

GCMW: Rik, thats part of the problem. People who endorse their own sexual immorality, cannot censure others. They have no moral ground. Hence the problem with MCC clergy who carry on these outrageous conduct and still retain their status as “ministers” within organization. They can never resolve that in their current belief system.
